SEEON

Trade fairs · Congresses · Organisers

The missing layer between hall, hotel and city.

A trade fair brings thousands of relevant professionals into one city for a few days. SEEON makes this co-presence visible in the hall, in nearby hotels and, if attendees choose, across the city. It runs inside the organiser's app or as a standalone app. No location tracking, nothing stored.

From arrival to after closing.

Relevant encounters at a trade fair are not limited to the opening hours. They happen on the way in, in the hall and in the evening near the venue. SEEON covers each of these moments, only when the attendee activates it.

01 | Arrival

Airport, train & hotel.

Visitors and exhibitors travel on the same flights and check into the same hotels. A first contact can happen before the fair opens.

02 | The fair

In the hall.

SEEON shows who is relevant, based on what people offer and what they seek.

03 | After closing

Hotel & surroundings.

After closing, attendees meet in lobbies, bars and restaurants nearby. Those who want to stay visible there choose to, with a one-time check on entry. No tracking in between.

04 | The city

Optional.

Attendees can widen their visibility to the whole city for the duration of the fair. It is never the default, and it is not a live location.

Networking is one of the main reasons professionals attend trade fairs. Most relevant encounters still happen by chance.

How SEEON runs at your fair.

Two deployment options. Inside the venue, attendees can use the organiser's app. Beyond the venue, the SEEON app continues. Use is voluntary in both cases.

01 | Visibility

You decide how visible you are.

Visibility is set by each attendee, not by the organiser and not by SEEON. Off, the fair only, the fair and its surroundings, or the whole city. If you do not activate, you do not exist in the system. Your exact location is never shared. Contact opens only when both sides want it.

02 | Integrated

Inside your official app.

SEEON is embedded into your existing event app via SDK and API. To show names and relevance, it uses the profile data behind your badges. On SEEON's side, this data is converted into anonymised tokens immediately. Nothing is stored.

03 | Standalone

The SEEON app as standalone.

Without integration, attendees enter your fair through the SEEON app, via QR code or event password, plus a one-time check that they are on site. After closing, the same app works in hotels, restaurants and across the city, always with the same rule: entered by choice, never tracked.

No tracking. Privacy by design.

SEEON does not follow anyone's location. There is no live location, no background tracking and no movement history. The only location check is a one-time confirmation, on entering a White Room, that you are actually there. A single check instead of constant location use also means no extra battery drain.

  • No live locationOne-time check on entry, nothing followed afterwards.
  • Nothing storedIdentities become anonymised tokens. When the context ends, the room and its data are gone.
  • GDPRBuilt for GDPR from the ground up. Hosted in Germany, no data leaves the EU.
  • Organiser data stays putThe organiser keeps its attendee data. SEEON builds no profiles of its own.

Three real examples

It already happens. By chance.

01 | On the way

Five hours, one row apart.

5:30 in the morning, a train from Berlin to Cologne. A travel manager is heading to an industry conference. Only on arrival does she notice that a colleague from the same industry, on his way to the same event, had been sitting directly in front of her the entire trip.

Had both activated SEEON for the trip, they would have seen each other at the platform.

02 | At the event

Five minutes in the speaker lounge.

A conference that is not going well. An event professional slips away for five minutes and finds a speaker who had the same idea. They talk about AI, scepticism and everyday work. Nobody is selling, nobody is buying. It becomes one of the most important conversations of their career. Since then, the question behind every event they build is whether it creates the conditions for that moment, or only hopes for it.

SEEON is one way to create those conditions, without changing the event itself.

03 | After the event

One transfer instead of two.

After an event, an attendee waits for the airport transfer and happens to meet one of the speakers, waiting for the same thing. They decide to share the ride and talk the entire way. One car instead of two, and a conversation neither had planned.

With SEEON, this kind of moment no longer depends on luck. The shared ride is a sustainable side effect.

All three situations were shared by people from the industry. Names are left out.
